Upcoming Workshops:
The Quality Sport for Communities and Clubs workshop provides tools, resources, and collaborative processes that help sport clubs, facilities, municipalities, and schools deliver high‑quality sport and physical activity. It focuses on building good people, good places, and good programs so communities can offer meaningful sport experiences at every level.
The Inclusive Physical Literacy workshop helps leaders understand how to support physical literacy development for participants with disabilities by using universal design principles and adapting programs so everyone can participate meaningfully. The Belonging in Sport and Physical Activity workshop equips professionals across sectors to create environments where participants feel accepted, connected, and supported—an essential part of quality sport and physical literacy development. Together, these workshops promote inclusion, belonging, and positive first‑involvement experiences. Participants receive a completion certificate and 2 NCCP PD points.
The Introduction to Physical Literacy workshop provides a broad, interactive overview of physical literacy—what it is, why it matters, and how to integrate it into programs. Participants learn the key components of physical literacy, explore its role in health, review factors that support its development, and are introduced to the PLAY assessment tools for tracking skill progress. By the end, participants gain a solid understanding of physical literacy across the lifespan and how to support continual improvement. Completion includes a certificate and 3 NCCP PD points.
This customizable workshop introduces the characteristics of autism and prepares staff for real‑life scenarios and practical scenarios you may encounter in camps or programs. Participants learn best practices for communication, increasing predictability and motivation, and using supportive tools during challenging moments. The session focuses on practical strategies and adaptations that help ensure all participants can engage successfully.
